KRISTA THOMPSON

Krista Thompson is an executive coach, team dynamics consultant and founder of Chondria Inc. She had a 25+ year career leading international teams in the medical technology industry. From general management of mature businesses to launching global products and redesigning organizations for growth, she brings “real-world” executive experience to coaching.  

Krista joined CrossCut Partners in 2018, a strategy consulting firm serving the med tech industry. While there she started her coaching practice to support leaders and teams for personal and professional growth. Prior to CrossCut, she served at Haemonetics Corporation as Vice President for the Global Hemostasis business and spent much of her professional life with BD (Becton Dickinson Inc.), holding a variety of high visibility positions including creating and leading the company’s Global Health Initiative.   

Successful at building high performing teams, Krista specializes in coaching executives and teams committed to leading significant change. She supports clients to build awareness of their strengths and expand their range of competencies for results. Engaging individually and in groups, she works with clients to develop choices and plans that unlock potential. 

 After experiencing her own health challenges and seeing the widespread impact of chronic stress in her clients, Krista founded Chondria with the belief that business leaders can have a powerful role in improving wellness, both doing well and being well.   

Krista holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.S. from Indiana University. In 2018, she completed the coaching certification program at the Gestalt International Study Center (GISC) and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. Gestalt principles are core to her practice, and she continues training at GISC including completion of the Cape Cod Training Program and the Executive Coaching and Personality Dynamics workshop. To deepen her understanding of improving wellness, she recently completed a year-long program through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.
